Checking Links

This applies to both emails and websites

When you receive an email and you weren't expecting it or you're browsing the web and you feel unsure about a link.

Check the link this can be done by hovering your mouse over the link (blue text when clicked will take you somewhere else) and DONT CLICK. In the bottom left corner of your screen you should see a list of text, this is the webpage the link will take you to.

Try it here on this text -if done correctly it should display "https:// www. google .com"
